Tactile Connections is a community-led textile project that explores the power of touch to support emotional well-being. In a fast-paced world where physical connection is often overlooked, this project places tactility at the heart of its design, celebrating the comfort, calm, and creativity that touch can offer.

Developed in collaboration with Lucky Ewe, a charity supporting young people with additional needs and mental health challenges, the project uses textiles as a medium for connection. Together, we’ve co-designed a modular textile installation that encourages interaction, reflection, and sensory engagement.
Through hands-on workshops, community connection, and slow-making, we have not only shaped a collective tactile artwork but also experienced the well-being benefits that come from creating together.
